Abstract

This research was descriptive, with a non-experimental design and comparison of two independent groups. Overall objective was to differentiate the Psychological Well-being of long and short distance bus drivers from the city of Asunción in 2014. The sample consisted of 101 drivers, selected by an intentional or criterial sampling, to whom the Scale of Psychological Well-being prepared by José Sánchez-Cánovas was applied, along with a sociodemographic questionnaire developed by the authors. To analyze the data, the statistical test Mann- Whitney was used. The results showed that no significant differences exist in the psychological wellbeing of both groups.
