Socioecological Model for non-substance consumption in high school adolescents
Abstract
Substance consumption by adolescents is considered multifactorial and the literature mentions that ecological models represent the complexity of this behavior through the interaction of the individual and various environmental factors that influence the prevention or delay of the beginning of substance consumption. In addition, nursing seeks through context evaluation to develop interventions focused on prevention and that provide coping skills according to the stages of development. Therefore, through the sub-structuring of the Socio-Ecological Model, a proposal is presented whose objective is to determine the explanatory capacity of the Medium-Range Theories called the Explanatory Model of Socio-Ecological Factors Associated with NonSubstance Use in School Adolescents
