Abstract

The objective of this research was to evaluate the psychometric properties of the CAPPSI scale in security agents of three hospitals in the city of Lima. The sample consisted of 381 participants between the ages of 18 and 50 years (Mage = 32,02; DEage = 8.67). This research verified by means of confirmatory factor analysis the internal structure of the construct through three models. The results indicated a factorial structure similar to the theoretical conceptualization, however, the empirical recommendation consisted of proposing and verifying more models in order to verify the arrangement that best fits the theory. Of which the oblique model of four factors would be represented more coherently to the theoretical structure. In addition, the reliability of the construct and the scores were above acceptable. It is concluded that the CAPPSI is an instrument that can be used for research and group description purposes.
