THE EDUCATION OF ADOLESCENTS IN DEPRIVATION OF LIBERTY: POSSIBILITIES AND LIMITS
Abstract
This article presents a qualitative research, based on Historical-Cultural Psychology, aims to reflect on the schooling of adolescents who comply with socio-educational measure of deprivation of liberty. An analysis of articles on the theme selected in the CAPES journals portal was carried out, in the public access modality, evidencing the scarcity of studies on this theme. The analysis aimed to understand how the process of schooling of adolescents in hospitalization units has taken place, a topic that is not much debated in the current research. It was verified that the education offered in the socio-educational institutions has many difficulties to be effective, which does not facilitate the objective advocated in the return legislation of the adolescent to the society in conditions to overcome the reality that led to the committing of the infraction act. We consider the need for more studies in this area, seeking subsidies to overcome difficulties in order to contribute to the formation of adolescents.
