Abstract
Introduction. The Quality of Work Life (QWL) is a multidimensional and dynamic concept that indicates personal and work needs and its evaluation allows us to know the needs of the worker and of the various work areas. Objective. The Quality of Work Life of the workers of a manufacturing company located in a municipality of the state of Coahuila was determined. Method. The population was 176 workers, with a sample of 135 workers. A data card and the CVT-GOHISALO instrument were used. Results. The reliability of the instrument was 0.97. The mean age was 39.21 years and the working seniority was 17.92 months. 40.7% (f = 55) had technical studies and 61.5% (f = 83) were married. The average scores of some of the dimensions of the instrument were: Institutional support for work 36.99, Safety at work 35.48, Well-being achieved through work 30.67 and Management of free time 14.23. Regarding the final sum, it was observed that 100% (f = 135) did not have a risk of imbalance in their perceived CVL. Conclutions. CVL represents a multidimensional concept that must be valued in each of the areas and different populations.
