The intrinsic part of the being with alcohol consumption, in a hospital context
Abstract
Introduction. In the intrinsic value of the being with alcohol consumption, a series of essences converge, placing it in a particular and unique point of view. Objective. Understand the intrinsic part of the being with alcohol consumption within a hospital context. Method. Qualitative phenomenological study, with 9 participants aged 35 to 65 years, alcohol consumers, who for various pathologies are in a second level Hospital in Guerrero, Mexico. Information obtained by phenomenological interview, analysis by Heidegger's hermeneutical circle. Results. They reveal the process of internalization of the being, fallen, with guilt, eager to share experiences, feelings, they recognize two dimensions; the physical part and their emotional and affective being. Conclusions. The challenge of caring for the being due to alcohol consumption, but with feelings, makes nursing professionals approach the two affected dimensions: physical and emotional-affective with sensitivity and respect.
